Although the General Biblical Studies program is for ladies who do not feel a direct call into the ministry, students in this field are striving to become well-rounded Christians who can serve a lifetime for Christ.

Students in this major take a variety of courses to include Biblical studies courses, domestic science courses, personal evangelism courses, Christian education courses, and practical ministry courses.

Students are influenced by the resident faculty of Providence Baptist College as well as by pastors' wives from area churches who teach on a weekly basis. This interaction with dedicated Christian women reveals how a young lady can serve God and her family with her life.

On the weekends, students also put into practice what they learn and observe from their instructors. Students are trained by faithful laymen of Northwest Bible Baptist Church to become proficient soulwinners reaching the community for Christ.
